Stunning huipil - A hand-woven, hand-embroidered “huipil” (a traditional women’s garment} by Maria Sapalu from a small village in Guatemala.  It is about 34 inches wide and 62 inches long, with over 100 intricately embroidered Guatemalan birds (at least 2 dozen distinct species).  Minimum bid: $500. Donated by Peter and Linda Kreisman and Marge Maddux.
